Sarah Kupersmith is a potter specializing in pinch pot, slab construction & wheel-thrown stoneware at her home studio in Pasadena California. Sarah's work is informed by folk pottery traditions, rooted in tending to the local soil. She makes clay slips, oxides & glaze formulations from her garden & surrounding land in the Valley. Pots are decorated using stamps made from found objects & flowers, honoring the unique properties of the terrain.
